Welcome Cyrus Peirce Students, Families and Community Members!

On behalf of the faculty, we are excited to welcome all of our students and families to the 2025-2026 school year!  Our CPS staff is looking forward to seeing your students in our halls and are ready to support their academic and social emotional growth.

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2, 2025.  The school day begins at 7:50am with doors opening for homeroom at 7:45am.  The school day ends at 2:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 2:20pm on Friday.

Emails to students and parents will go out with the homeroom teacher and room assignment later this month.  Schedules will be distributed on the first day of school in the homerooms. Staff will be on hand to help direct students on the first day of school.

Please be on the lookout for an August digital newsletter (S’more) for information and updates.  During the school year, parent updates are sent out regularly (usually Monday evenings) through email as well as posted on our CPS page of the district’s website: www.npsk.org.

If you have not already done so, be sure to complete the annual ASPEN registration.  It is important for us to have updated contact information, permissions, and technology agreements.

Student drop-off and pick-up is at the back of the CPS entrance by the cafeteria.  This area is accessible via both Sparks Ave and First Way.  The front entrance to CPS/NHS is open ONLY to school buses at drop-off and pick-up times. Any student riding an electric bike/scooter to school must register it the first week of school with Mrs. Lombardi.  E-bikes and scooters must be parked in the front of the school in the bike racks.

There will be a Grade 6 orientation and building tour on Thursday, August 28th at 1pm in the CPS Cafeteria at the back of the building.

We look forward to working with you and helping all students at Cyrus Peirce Middle School meet their goals and have a successful school year!

Sincerely,

Michael Horton
