The Nantucket Public Schools Community Notices is a public service meant to inform the community about upcoming engagement opportunities in and around Nantucket.
Posting on this page does not imply or signify that the district, superintendent, designees, or school committee endorses or approves the activities or viewpoints promoted in these materials.
The protocol for posting to the school district’s Community Notices page is as follows:
- Determine whether your organization meets the criteria to post your information to the NPS Community Notices page:
- Nantucket-based
- Non-profit
- Secular
- Nonpolitical
- Non-commercial groups
- Promotes civic, athletic, cultural, recreational, and social activities
- For NPS students and families.
- Solicitation should only be to benefit students directly.
- The District is not responsible for editing blurbs, flyers, etc. for content, grammar, or spelling, nor is it responsible for the content of any website connected to a link provided. However, the District may edit items for brevity, clarity (etc.) at its discretion.
- Files may only be uploaded in as images - no other format is allowed.
- The superintendent (or designee) will determine the length of time that flyers or other documents remain posted on the Community Notices website.
- Information about school events, fundraisers, and other school-based activities may also be publicized through other communications originating from the school district.
